Is it ok for me to leave my computer monitor on when not in use with an animated wallpaper running? I ask b/c I have downloaded several of those free animated wallpapers from Freeze.com and would rather leave my monitor on when not in use so that I can enjoy the cool moving wallpapers but I am not sure if this lessens the life/performance of the monitor/computer system or not. I know it uses more power and CPU, but other than that, will it cause any harm in the long (short) run? I get a blue screen saying BOGUS_DRIVER and then my computer tries to restart? My wallpaper says WARNING spyware found, download spyware or antivirus program Then after awhile it will go to the blue screen saying problem and BOGUS_DRIVER and varies stuff.
