Windows Desktop?

HoW ARE YOU ABLE TO move your desktop icons around so they are not all in the same icon? how can i unlock it be specific

1. Right click on the ICON you wish to change. Select properties Select Customize Select Change Icon
2. Right click the desktop ,select View and uncheck"Align to grid "and "auto arrange"
3. start with this: Minimize all windows. -> Right click on the taskbar (the blue line at the bottom) and click on show desktop. Right click on Desktop and click on "Arrange Icons By".Is "Auto Arrange" selected. If it is click it again so as not to "Auto Arrange". Also under "Arrange Icons By" Menu, check if "Lock Web ... " is selected. If it unselect it. After that you can move your icons wherever you want.
