- Windows Blinds is a great program for using and creating customized themes for windows. http://www.stardock.com/products/windowblinds/ (its only a trial but there aren't any good alternatives)
- I don't know about XP specificly, but a great site for software, free and otherwise, is majorgeeks.com
- There are 3 more of them out there that few people know about that you can download. They are all based on the Royale theme that was included in the Media Center version of XP. here is the Royale theme http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/Royale-Theme-for-WinXP-Download-13027.html Royale Noir: a black Royale theme, looks kind of like Vista. http://www.istartedsomething.com/20061029/royale-noir/ The Zune theme, Basicaly the black theme only with a gold start button and gold trim. This one is my favorite. http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=75078 You don't need to install any third party software for these, they will just add them to your display properties menu, Microsoft put these out.
